This is a great APP and I like how you can split screen. I downloanded a few Bible study apps and have one open in split screen when studying. Highly recommend this!

I was looking for a Bible Study App, I think first on my outdated Now, iPod. I Chose this one. After I got my FIRE Phone and Kindle Fire, I searched for this App there and was able to get it… Later I realized that they were keeping, maintaining and updating This Olive Tree App on ALL my Devices and Mac! So I started collecting resources within the App, I have all of the translations of the Bibles I like. There is so much more available for studying the Bible. Only thing stopping me from getting some of the Best Commentaries and study tools, is financial reasons….Love the App for what I need it for….Thanks OLIVE TREE!

Olive Tree has been my go to Bible app for many years and it remains a great product. Excellent customer support. Would recommend to any one looking for a good Bible Study App.

Hands down the best App or Bible Program for Mac/Apple products users… it does what I need it to do, lots of resources available within and at a very reasonable price. I have access to it on my iPhone, MacBook Pro, iPad and now my Apple Watch allows me to read scripture on it!!! Incredible…. try it out …. nothing to loose and everything to gain!!!

I highly recommend The Bible Study App. It is easy to use on my Mac, iPad, and iPhone, and the resources are excellent. I like the a la carte approach to the various resources because I prefer to build my own library based on my needs and inclinations. I’ve been using The Bible Study App for a number of years—probably close to a decade—and I’ve always received good service. I’ve been a publisher of Bible study materials as well as a pastor, and I continue in retirement to teach Bible studies and write books (six books published so far, more in process). I use the app almost daily in preparation for teaching and writing.

I have put about $120 into this app to buy study helps, translations, etc over the years. I have been a user now for six or seven years. I loved this product originally for its price. After many improvements, I now also love this product for its style and ease of use. Olive Tree has done a great job developing this product. I can do very good word study on this app for sermon prep, etc. I love the fact that my notes, highlights, etc. really personalize the experience with the Word. I do wish I had about $500 to invest in Olive Tree Products that would enhance my study even more. The free version with non-copyrighted products is great. For people that aren’t pastors, you can go a long way with a $35 or $40 investment. And once you install, you don’t even need to be online to use it. The Digital Word made simple!

I love this app, I’ve been using it for almost two years. Very easy to navigate and I love that this app provides different versions to read from.

I am truly thankful that this app was created. I find it the most extensive and the most useful bible app in my possession. I can carry a wealth of bibles and reference knowledge. Having some much information right at my fingertips has allowed me to see many more facets to the word thgan I could ever have without it. I now have a great scholarly library on the WORD at a fraction of the cost of what each book would cost in paper bound form.

I use this Olive Tree all the time and really like it. There are a couple of things that would take this app from good to AWESOME. One thing would be that I cannot access my Tyndale commentary set on my Mac but I can on my iPhone and iPad. I asked when it would be available on my Mac and they said when the next update was available it would. However, it hasn’t. I am hesitant to download any more commentaries for now because of this. I would also like to have a more simplified view of what I have in my library and a separate window of what is online. When I do a search for books on my computer it also includes online books. Just a little more organization within the app would make a big difference. If these two concerns were corrected, I would give it a 5 star rating.

I use a Logos system on my desktop, but I use this system for my laptop. It has what I need for serious Bible study- different Bible versions, some commentaries. I wish there were more commentaries available. I give it four stars because it isn’t completely intuitive- I had to do some digging around to learn how to use the features.

I really love this app as a way for me to read the bible daily. I love the reading plans. Especially the one that divides up 4 readings to different areas of the bible. I feel like this keeps it interesting. And I feel like it connects the bible as a whole. I also downloaded the Hebrew version. I also use it for my Hebrew Class. I love how I can take notes for different scriptures. My Son is going to be starting a reading plan also. Also the Hebrew is easy to read, which is a significant difference in other apps that I have tried to use. I need to be able to see the vowels under the letter.

Olive Tree Bible Study App is one of the best study apps I have ever used. It is user friendly, concise and easy on the eyes. Not only do I use it for personal devotion, but aswell as preparing for bible studies to preach on Sundays. I highly recommend this app!

The app keeps crashing and needs to be updated.

I’ve worked with support on constant crashing on OS X to no avail. Screens don’t refresh when changing verses, translations or different areas in the Resource Guide. Click to try to get a screen refresh then shortly thereafter it will crash. Sometimes copying text will also cause a crash. I believe the issue is the Retina MBP since it seems to operate better on my Macbook Air. On iOS it’s top notch. Support says a new version is coming out. Hopefully the bugs will be addressed.

I sincerely love this app and use it as frequently as possible… It has allowed me to consolidate the majority of my Bible Study into a single app. They offer so much for free I almost feel guilty using it; so, I have cheerfully made several In-App purchases (which were phenomenal deals in and of themselves). If you’re looking for a good Scripture reading and Study tool with lots of free extras and a vast library, look no further…

I really like this simple Bible reference in adjunct to my other Bible programs. It helps if you’re looking up many verses and do not want to change the one you are working on. Like it very much and I’m sure it can do more than I have figured out at this point. Looking forward to finding new treasures. Thank you, Terrie A.

Its great having a lot of resources available, used to be I’d have multiple books open on my desk (still do, even as I type this) but its great when an app is created that allows you to open the Bible and other resources without necessarily having to be connected to the Internet. The books and other resources are fantastic, a bit pricey but its great having the search feature. My favorite feature is the ability to have the same library when I’m traveling either via my iPhone, iPad or my Mac, great app! I highly recommend this to anyone serious about getting into God’s Word!!

I love that it instantly searches for words or phrases in the Bible in different versions. With the free stuff, I’m content as it has a dictionary, ESV, KJV, NKJV (was available for free for a while), and a commentary or two. It’s super handy, and the iphone app is helpful for finding verses while away from the computer. Word searches is what I use it for, but it’s VERY fast at doing that, doesn’t crash, and is a blessing to my Bible study. I’m really enjoying it.
