I can not use the app

I am a user of the Bible Study. I bought the NIV version with strong and some days I can no longer open the application on the macbook. I am using the 10.9.5 version of Mac OS and this requires that I install the 10:10 version, this is nonsense because I always used and spent up buying the version. I count on the help and understanding of you. God bless.
